Flood Waters rise in Department Store

When a catastrophic event occurs such as a Hurricane, structures are not only affected by the wind.  Rising floodwaters are equally as devastating to area affected the department store seen here experienced water that rose to over 4ft, and brought with it silt and contamination that ruined the floors and carpet throughout the property.  SERVPRO was able to come in and remove the water and contaminated drywall.  The photos show what a group of trained technicians can accomplish.  In the second photo you can see how much had to be removed where crews could begin to put back the pieces and get this store open for business.
