Ceiling Damage from water

As you can see in the before picture, there was substantial damage to the ceiling from a water leak on the above floor. A washing machine line popped out of the drain and caused a lot of damage to the home. The paint in the picture caused a bubble full of water. It is quite bizarre that paint can form a bubble from water like a balloon. We had to hold a large trash can under the bubbles in the ceiling and pop them to drain the water out. They had new ceilings put in because the drywall was damaged beyond repair. After the drywall was hung, the texture and paint was added to finish the job. (After the drying process of course).
